A group of decorative mid-20th-century art glass items comprising vases, a bowl, and a figurine. Included is a pair of small amphora-form vases featuring an internal white casing overlaid with a marbled spatter glass pattern in tones of pink, brown, and cream, each finished with two applied clear glass scrolled handles. Also present is a heavy decorative bowl or ashtray of six-pointed star form, produced in the sommerso technique with a deep cobalt blue core encased in a thick layer of clear glass, in the style of Venetian glassmakers. The collection is completed by a sculptural glass figure of a pheasant in turquoise-blue glass, featuring internal bullicante controlled bubble decoration and mounted on a clear glass spiralled ribbed base. These pieces are characteristic of mid-century Italian glass production. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the items.
