An assembled collection of British ceramics and domestic items. The group includes a large earthenware spaniel figure finished in a glossy black Jackfield-style glaze with gilded highlights to the eyes and collar. A 19th-century frog surprise mug is decorated with a multi-coloured transfer-printed scene of figures in a parkland setting, containing a moulded black frog figure to the interior base. Porcelain tea wares comprise several tea bowls and saucers, including examples in the New Hall style with hand-painted floral sprays, swirled fluting, and gilded sprigs. One tea bowl features a central purple transfer-printed allegorical scene titled Charity. Also included is a square-form miniature teapot transfer-printed with a scene titled South Beach Lowestoft, and a circular wooden mount inset with a ceramic plaque depicting the Residence of Anne Hathaway, Shakspeares Wife, Shottery Nr Stratford on Avon. Decorative items include a small figurine of two children under a bower, an oval bowl with green-rimmed thistle decoration, and a miniature lighthouse model on a rocky base. Metalware consists of a silver-plated lobed oval sugar box with a domed lid and dark wood finial, a pair of steel nutcrackers with textured handles, and a commemorative silver-plated souvenir spoon.
