This collection consists of several vintage ceramic kitchen storage jars produced by Crown Devon (S. Fielding and Co. Ltd) in Staffordshire, England, dating to approximately the 1960s or 1970s. The group includes three cylindrical canisters finished in a white glaze, each transfer-printed with a retro floral motif featuring sunflowers in a palette of orange, yellow, and brown. These jars are labelled Biscuit, Coffee, and Sugar in bold black typography and are fitted with flat, light-wood lids. Also included are two squat, wide-based jars featuring a concentric ribbed design to the exterior. One jar is finished in a mustard-yellow glaze and the other in a mahogany-brown glaze, both having matching domed ceramic lids with circular finials in a darker mottled finish. The white canisters bear a pink and black Crown Devon backstamp to the base which reads S. Fielding and Co. Ltd. Staffordshire England Potters for over 100 years. The ribbed jars feature embossed markings to the base reading Crown Devon and England.
