The rim features a series of concentric borders including a Greek key pattern at the edge, a feathered herringbone band, a stylized foliate border, and an inner band of interlocking circles. The platter is of rectangular form with clipped corners and a shallow central well. The underside is unglazed and flat, showing minor kiln grit and surface staining.
