A Moorcroft pottery vase of bulbous form with a tapering neck and slightly flared rim. It is decorated in the Pomegranate pattern, featuring tubelined and hand-painted fruit and berries in rich colours of red, purple, and green against a deep cobalt blue ground. The base is impressed with the maker mark MOORCROFT and stamped with MADE IN ENGLAND. It also bears the impressed shape number 372 and a stamped hollow circle year cypher, identifying the piece as being produced in 1991.
